About Us

Venus Women’s Rights Association is a Riga-based organization dedicated to empowering women and advocating for gender equality across the globe. What began as a small community of passionate individuals has grown into a strong network committed to protecting women's rights, fighting gender-based violence, and amplifying women’s voices in every area of life.

Founded officially in 2022, our association stands for solidarity, empowerment, and transformation. We believe that every woman—regardless of her background—deserves to live free from violence, discrimination, and fear. Through educational programs, advocacy, mentorship, and international collaborations, we work to create inclusive spaces where women can thrive, connect, and lead.

Our mission is to build a world where gender does not determine one's opportunities or safety. By supporting personal growth, professional development, and collective action, we strive to challenge the norms that hold women back and to promote a future shaped by equality, justice, and shared strength.

Our Latest Erasmus Project!

Change Starts Now - 2024-3-LV02-KA152-YOU-000266537

This project, approved in the 2024 R3 round, will take place in Riga, Latvia from April 18–25, 2025, with partners from Austria, Spain, Romania, and Turkey.

The project aims to raise awareness about violence against women, empower young people to take action, and promote gender equality through workshops, creative activities, and intercultural dialogue. Participants will gain key skills, create awareness materials, and become peer educators in their communities.

By fostering youth leadership and cross-cultural collaboration, the project seeks to build a more inclusive and gender-sensitive approach in youth work.
